Headache, Fever and Friends

Up until today, I still have a fever but not as high as yesterday. It's already beggining to be an annoyance rather than anything else. For one, I can't even take a leave from work because I don't have sick leave. Another thing is, I have so many things to do today that I just can't leave it alone. On a good note though, I don't think my cold will become a full blown virus that would make me look like "Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer". I think by Friday, I'll be breathing fine.

But the fever is already getting to me. Yesterday, I couldn't even work properly because I felt so cold and my head was spinning and I was in the verge of being delusional. I couldn't think straight. I honestly didn't remember writing a blog. And by the end of the day, I have a splitting headache that felt like my head was going to explode. It was so painful I have to ask a friend of mine (the one I treat like a younger brother) to pick me up here at my workplace. Good thing he was kind enough to do it.

Friends are really good to have around. Honestly, if it wasn't for that friend of mine I wouldn't know how I would be getting home yesterday. Anyway, thanks to my friend I got home safely but not without seeing another long lost friend. We were walking in SM Southmall (we need to pass by the mall to get to my home) when we saw him/her (he's gay). It was really nice to see old friends again. We got to reminisce out high school times together and what already happened to out other friends and classmates. We got to know what's been happening with everyone we know then and it was really good despite the headache and fever that I have.

Anyway, despite the fever and headache, I actually had fun. It's really good to see old friends and get to know what's been happening with them.

Lesson to be learned, "keep in touch with old friends. It's worth it."
