Bravery
"Bravery isn't about not being afraid. It's about being scared and still not giving in - Rachel of Animorphs, The Reaction
Bravery. We all have a different meaning for it. But in my opinion, Rachel is right. It's not about being not afraid, it's about controlling your fear and finish the job that you need to do.
Soldiers are brave. They may fear death but they still go to war because it's their job to serve their country. That's the reason why they're in the force after all. But I'm sure they're afraid everytime they go in the line of fire. Fear of getting injured or even dying my even be running in their minds while they are out there but they still go. They still charge to enemy lines because they need to. They have to muster the courage to go and do their job even if they are afraid of what the consequence of charging will be.
"Being brave, doesn't mean that you should go looking for trouble." Something Mufasa had said to a young Simba when he went to the elephant graveyard.
You don't have to show off for people to see that you're a brave person. It just happens. You don't have to go looking for trouble for you get noticed that you're brave. Bravery is something that you have inside of you whether you're skinny, sickly or even crazy. The best time to be brave is when nobody is expecting you to do it.
For you to show who you really are to your friends and collegues...to me that's bravery.
