Lost and confused

I have this misfortune of getting lost in Malate yesterday. Good thing, it was only a temporary relapse of not understanding the instructions given to us by our friend.

Anyway, ther are times when I go home, I wait for my baby brother who works in Makati. Yesterday was that kind of day but with a sudden twist, I also asked another friend of ours if she wants to come with us going home since this March my baby brother will start to go home at 7pm. That would be about the same time she goes home as well. I thought that what the heck since they go out about the same time and I get to Glorietta at 7pm, it would be great to add another person in our company. So, I asked her and she agreed to come with us.

Unfortunately for us, she got caught up with work and couldn't get out early. She suggested to pick her up in her office which me and Dean (my baby brother) agreed to. So we asked her for directions on how to get there and that's when the problem started. She told us to get down in Quirino and just walk until we find a 7-11 and Milans then make a right. The place was which was fairly located in Singgalong. Dean knows where Singgalong is so I thought we won't have a problem with the directions. Boy was I wrong.

When we got down in Quirino, we started walking until we found Singgalong but we couldn't find 7-11 or Milans. When we got there, that where we got confused. She didn't tell us if we will go right or left so we don't know where to go from there. We texted her if we were on the right track and all she said was "yes" but didn't tell us if we were suppose to go left or right. We walked for about 10mins. until we finally realize that it was the wrong way. So we have to turn around and go back to the other way. Eventually we found our landmarks but we took the wrong turn yet again. So we have to back track the second time and finally we found Lea's office.

It turns out that the street that Lea (my friend) told us wasn't Quirino at all. Dean said that it was San Andres. We should have gone down at San Andres and walked until we find a 7-11 and Milans then make a right. If we've gone down in San Andres, we would have walked a long way. It was pretty close to Lea's office than in Quirino.

No offense to my friend Lea, she's a very good friend and I love her very much but she should give better directions next time...or check the street signs at her place so she would mistaken San Andres to Quirino next time. :D Don't worry Lea, we still love you. :D

But I enjoyed the journey home. It was really great and I had another adventure to add on my list of adventures in life. :D Anyway, it was really fun going home. Lea was really very talkative and asking about our past classmates and villains in our lives, aka SAWASHOs. But the SAWASHOs will be discussed on a future blog when I actually have the stomach to talk about them.

And on other news, I finally got to figure out what to do with that accounting problem that I have that has tormented me for 4 working days and 2 weekends...couldn't actually concentrate on the Modern day Exulted game last Saturday because of it. At last, I had it typed and really for printing today. :D But I still have to cross my fingers and pray that it was the right solution.
