I Almost Got Arrested

I had the most scary yet amazing time today. I was almost arrested by the traffic investigators just because I was trying to save the trees.

Honestly, I was scared. But I have to make a stand at one point otherwise they would just continue to just kill all of them. It was a choice that I have to make. And despite the fact that I almost got arrested, I stood my ground.

I know it was the most stupid course of action that I had done all my life. But that stupid action caused these hired workers to stop what they are doing for at least a few hours.

Unfortunately my brilliant plan didn't work out so well. As I type this they have continued on working in destroying the island that "house" the trees. Those tree killers are at it again and the people who were planning to arrest me are already laughing their heads off. My aunt was with me and for fear that I might get arrested (because I'm already being threatened by the traffic investigators) she volunteered to be arrested in my place. Honestly, as much as she annoys me to death, I don't want her arrested because of what I did. I honestly wanted to get arrested but she wouldn't let me. I guess it was alright considering that if I actually get a police record, it would give me a hard time getting a better job than this. At least this would save my parents from being humiliated because their youngest daughter was obstructing traffic by sitting at one of the demolition equipment.

Sometimes I wished I could have stayed there. I should not have gone down. I should just have gotten myself arrested and made my stand. But my fear for my aunt hindered me to do so. And now, I feel awful. =(

The tree killers won. And I hate myself for it.
