Wonderful World Of Day Offs

At first, when I took this job I have always wanted a day-off on a weekend. One of the reasons is that I want to have ample time with my siblings and grandmother who are the only people I consider family since both my parents are in abroad. But I find myself liking Monday's day-off the best time as any for one.

Today, I got my well deserved sleep. I got 14hours of sleep and when I woke up I felt really refreshed. All the lack of sleep that I have for the whole week, I got it back in just one day. That is really something for me. I have the energy that I need for the whole week again and that's no easy feat. If my day-off was on a weekend, I wouldn't get to sleep like this because I go out on Saturdays and I go to church early Sunday morning and I can't go back to sleep after that.

I have to the computer all to myself. If I had a day-off on a weekend, I have to battle out with the rest of my siblings for the use of the PC. And unfortunately, I would lose. On a Monday, everybody is out and I have the computer all to myself. And that is something I can't do on a weekend.

Though I can't watch the programs that I watch during the weekends like Card Captor Sakura, Mutant X, Sinbad and StarGate, the wonderful world of technology has the answer to that as well. I get to watch it all on my day off without anyone to bother me since I am the only one at home with my grandmother and with 3 TVs I won't have to worry about shooing her of the living room TV.

Ah... day-offs are really nice! I'm so happy that I didn't get to convince my boss for Sunday's off.
