And Who Said That Nothing's Free Anymore?
After the long hour of trying to fix my bank account and the other errands my grandmother wanted me to do for the day, I was rewarded by the fact the there are still things that are free...if you have the reward card. =)
National Bookstore will forever be my favorite bookstore where I will be buying all the school and office supplies that I need. And with their introduction of the "Laking National Bookstore Card", I was liking it even more. As I amuse myself in the long line of National because the person in front of me bought a lot of books that took the time of every single cashier and bagger, I got to chat with the other cashier lady and ask her about the priviledges of the reward card that they offer. And unlike other reward cards where the amount or points would give you this specific item, the Laking National's E-Purse would let you chose the item of your choice and let you buy it then and there. And if the amount in the E-Purse if larger than the price of the item that you want, you can purchase it for free and you can still use the rest on your next visit. It's really cool actually. Call it childish but with the current financial problems that I have at the moment, this afternoon's purchase was really took a load off for me. It was really well appreciate it.
So, who said that nothing is free anymore? I may not have bought a house or a car but with the little freebie in life, I will more likely survive this world. =D
