Something to think about...

"How can one man carry the burden of the world's sins?" - Satan, The Passion of the Christ

Okay...maybe that isn't really how he/she said it in verbatim but the thought was there.

Finally, after two weeks of saying to myself that I will watch the movie, I have finally got to watch it. It was even a nick of time too since the movie should have started at 3:35pm and I got there at around 3:36pm. =) I guess, God really wanted me to watch the movie.

Anyway, as I have watched the movie, I never stopped crying from the beginning that he was caught by the High Priest's soldiers to him being taken down on the cross.

But it really hit me in the beginning when they were in the garden of Getsemany. The devil was seducing Jesus into giving up his destiny.

For one man, Jesus really had suffered so much. He carried such a huge burden and was killed because of it. He died to save us all. And all the burden was carried by only one man. And as Lucifer had said, "no one can ever carry that burden. NO ONE." But Jesus succeeded and as he said "is making all things new".

A touching movie. Now I know why a lot of people's lives were changed because of it. If you have faith, it really means something than just another Hollywood flick.

Ironically, it was a refreshing change. And I'm really happy that I finally got to see it. It was really worth half-walking/half-running to the theater to go see it.
