Another Disappointing Race for My Driver

Another Disappointing Race for My Driver

So far in the season, I have yet to see Kimi Raikkonen in the top steps of the podium...it wasn't his fault really. It's the car that's the problem. Right now, the Mercedes engine isn't really that good. It's not competitive enough to really win some points.

Very disappointing indeed. Honestly, he's really a great driver. Given the right car (a car that would actually last a whole race without its engine blowing up) he would be in the top steps like Michael Schumacher. He's really good. He's very competitive and at the moment, the limelight isn't actually at him because he has yet to finish a race at the top three... Sure he scored 1 point in Barcelona but he could have won more races if that f@#$ing engine of theirs just last long enough to let him win a race!!! It's not like he couldn't do it. He had a great race last season...It's just his luck that the car isn't performing well this year.

I and my siblings have been talking about it while we were watching the race. If Raikkonen moved into another team...say Ferrari or even BMW, maybe he'd score more points than Montoya or Barrichello. It's really a good possibility. After all he had done just that last year when he won second in the world championships. Just give him a car that works, and he'll work wonders for his team.

Another disappointment for me was Ralf Schumacher. I know, I know. Ralf hasn't actually been performing well this season either. Being a Schumacher doesn't help either. I just assumed that because he still doesn't have a spot on any of the teams next season he'll actually be doing well, trying to stay away from trouble as much as possible and try to get as much points even more than his team mate Montoya who would be leaving Williams BMW to join Mclaren. Well, he has a lot to learn from his older brother that's for sure.

Oh well, another disappontment for me. I really hope that the next race would give me something to look forward to. And I do hope that I would see my boy Kimi at the top steps of the podium this time around before the season ends...I'm crossing my fingers...and I'll keep on praying for a miracle to happen.
