I'm Officially a Writer!!!

Last night, I just got my complementary copy of DC Kids Philippines. It's a kids magazine that mostly centers on characters in the DC world. Why, you may ask, do I have a complementary copy of DC kids? Well, I have an article written there. It's not that long I know...and it really doesn't pay much, I accept that fact, but getting published! It's a dream come true!

I went home last night and showed my family the copy. And for the first time in my life they have actually congratulated me for a job well done.

I'm still happy. Despite the sudden arrival of my worst enemy, Mr. Cold, I am really happy. Finally, I can actually put in my resume that I am a writer. =) I'm really proud of myself.

Of course, this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for some friends of mine. Leonard Banaag, for introducing me to the editor and actually giving me an assignment. Paul Co, Noel Cortes, Dino Tansioco, and Ricky Santos for helping me out with the article. I would be stumped and don't know where to look if it wasn't for them.
