For the passed few days that I have been driving around the city, I have noticed one thing...drivers of Hondas, Fords and Mercedes drive really slow. As much as I am generalizing, I know that there are still a few out there who still drive fast when driving these cars but the majority of the drivers I've noticed aren't.
This is very frustrating to me not just because they are more of a road hazzard than anything else because they drive at around 40 kph when the minimum speed limit on the South Super Highway is 60. Those brand mentioned above are really fast cars. Hondas are really made to be fast. Fords and Mercedes have very strong engines that can give you that extra boost of speed. Naught to sixty only takes around 5 seconds! I have really noticed that the drivers who drive those vehicles don't really bring out the potential of those cars! And it's really sad because you know how good those cars can be.
Why is it that they can't speed up? How hard is it to reach at least 60 in the highway? Those cars were built for speed. They were there for you to floor the gas and just zoom passed everyone else. They were made to be really competitive when it comes to speeding up in the highway. But those drivers are wasting power! They waste such a good car by driving really slow. And it's really frustrating!
Is it because those cars are very expensive that they "take good care" of them? Are they afraid of getting into an accident if they drive too fast? Are they too careful that they don't push their cars to the limit just because they are afraid of destroying their vehicles?
Honestly speaking, if you're a good driver, you wouldn't have to worry about those things however fast you drive. Knowing that you can afford those nice looking cars means that you can afford going to a driving school and actually learn from the best people who would teach you the right way how to drive. You can be fast and still be careful, I know so many drivers who are fast yet they have never met into an accident! I mean, if you really know how to drive and you know the traffic rules, you wouldn't have a problem with it. If you can't drive like the others, don't drive at all! You're only becoming a traffic hazzard to everyone else!
Why waste your money on a very expensive car if you won't even use up all it's potential? Just get yourself a inexpensive car like an Owner or something if you're so afraid of damaging your car because it's so expensive. That we you won't be worried if your car had a scratch or a dent because of your stupidity. Afraid of losing pogi points? You'll lose so much more if you keep driving slow.
I know, I'm generalizing. But I do have friends who drives those cars but drive fast so I know it's not everyone. But I hate being bottled up in a highway when someone in front of me is driving at 40. I drive a Toyota Lite Ace and I can make that van reach up to 120 if I really put my mind to it. Isn't it an insult to you driving a Honda CRV or a Civic to get passed by a battered looking Lite Ace while it's going 80-100kph while you're driving 40? How hard could it be? You're car should be faster than mine, use your cars potential and drive like an F1 driver.
