It's time once again for the Formula One Grand Prix. Race starts in Australia and yesterday's qualifying told me that this will be an interesting season. This year comes with a new surprise.
Last year was a disappointing year for me. Not only did Kimi Raikkonen didn't win, he wasn't even the top two. But this year, though I think that it's going to be a struggle for my boy again I feel that it's going to be a bit better...I hope.
New regulations, the return of slicks and a new team...well okay, not really a new team but a rename of the old Honda. Brawn GP I think will be the dark horse this year. With Ross Brawn at the helm, I'm sure he will be making another "Benetton with his new team". Everyone didn't expect that they would be getting pole in qualifying. But it was a Brawn 1-2 with Button in the lead and Barichello right behind him. And because of that, I know that this is going to be a very promising season, provided that they have a reliable package.
Last year, because of a disappointing season for my boy, I thought that this is going to be another boring season with only three teams fighting for the top again. I guess I was wrong. In qualifying, we saw that the mid-runners take the lead and the front runners lack the speed and maybe problems with their packaging. I look forward to what's going to happen with Brawn GP. I hope that they do well and win their first GP in Australia. I wouldn't even mind if they win Championship for both drivers and constructors. Don't get me wrong, I'll still cheer for Kimi and Ferrari but I don't mind someone fresh and new taking the Championship. In short, I'll be glad with anyone but Lewis Hamilton to win (again, I don't really know why but I just don't like the lad).
This is a promising season, thanks Brawn GP for making it exciting. I would also like to see how KERS will affect the race.
Now, I'm just waiting for the five lights to go out to start the race.
