A Day of Remembering

Today, I'm going to vere off the topic of war in the Middle East and commemorate this day for a good friend of mine.

Today is Kuya Dennis's birthday. If he was alive, he would have been 24years old. If he was alive today, I would have sent him a card with something that I know that he would love and mail it via LBC. I would imagine him sending me and SMS or calling me to thank me for what I gave him. He would laugh and tell jokes and stories of what had happened to him in the passed few weeks when we never did contact each other. He would say thank you a zillion times before we finally put the phone down. And at the end of the day, both of us will be smiling.

I wouldn't be able to do that now. All I have is his memories. Something I will cherish for the rest of my life.

And now I lift my glass up in salute to a wonderful person who had made my life worth living. Your memories will never be gone while I'm around.

To you Kuya Dennis!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
