Day Two in the land of Midgard

So my first day, though it was short was more or less a success. I ended up with 100 Zeny as a bonus for a job well done in my training, I’ve got chicken, 2 milk and 3 bananas for answering the questions correctly.

At the psychological test I ended up as a swordsman. Needless to say that I didn't actually agree with them because my mind was set to play a thief. So instead of biting the lure that they would give me something extra if I did choose to become a swordsman, I followed my own path and headed for the thieves' guild.

But before I can actually become one, I need to increase my level to at least a 9. So what I did was I went to go look for trouble and fight off defenseless egg just to increase my stats. I experience dying in that game for the first time. I was busy with a drop that I didn't see that the green line below my character was dwindling slowly until it was too late. The screen went black and I was back inside the city of Morroc. The second time I head out and attack innocent pecopeco's egg, I was ready. I learned that that little green line over the non-moving blue line below it was important. I shouldn't let it turn read or else I will eventually go back to where I last met a Kafra.

Anyway, I had a few adventures here and there. I got to argue with another player who was about to steal the red potion that I fought so hard to get from a pecopeco's egg. Someone thought that I was an acolyte. Though I still wonder why they thought I was one. I almost died again fighting off a drop but since I was ready the second time, I immediate press F1 to eat a banana and regain the lost health point.

I ended my game that night with a base level of 4 and a job level of 3. All thanks to the unarmed and unassuming pecopeco's and ant's egg. =D

My younger brother also had fun making fun of me that night as well. He was more or less helping me get the feel of the game and taught me how to level up without actually getting hurt in the first place (hence fighting off pecopeco's egg =D).

Then during my training, I was suppose to go from one end of a courtyard to another. My brother told me to get out as fast as I can because the creatures there were fairly strong. But on my way to the door he suddenly said, "Wait! Try to kill some creatures first so that you have leveled up already before you go in there." I entered the door half-way to his speech. Needless to say that I didn't get to level up in that place. I ended the training at the current level that I was in which was level 1.

Anyway, I can't actually wait what will happened to me tonight or tomorrow night if I actually get to play sometime this week before I get to meet my friends on Saturday for our regular RPG game. This would be another weird story to tell. =D
