Stories...Another kind of bread

"People needs stories more than bread itself" - Arabian Knights Movie from Hallmark

Another food for thought.

What are stories anyway? Just a jumble of experiences made into something worth telling, or an adventure that takes the listeners or readers into a world where you can escape your reality.

Stories are not just some means of escaping reality. Lessons can also be learn from them. They are not just some random experiences worth telling but they also help other people better themselves and make them feel good. Stories that come alive in ones imagination offer that person a chance to become who he wants to be and gives him a chance to escape the problems that he has...or better yet, it also helps him fix his problems.

Stories are not just for children. I have known that eversince. Fairy tales, Legends and Myths that we have heard as bed time stories not only helps the child as he grows older, it would also help him face all the problems and fears that he will encounter as he grows old.

People nowadays forgets these things. They forget the value of a good story. Now, with all the cool gadgets and electronic games and stuff a child's imagination isn't as great as in the "old days".

A good story, lost in the shelves. People tend to forget that all the good stories that you see on TV or the Big screen came from the mind of someone. All he/she needs is making it into reality. But why stop there? Why stop at only watching other people's imagination come to life? Why don't you start making something from you mind and realizing it?

Give your share of stories. Maybe someone you meet at the bus needs that "bread" to fuel him up for the day. =)
