Please Pray for Caden

Caden Zayne ... "the fighter" "a gracious gift from God"

There was a time in my life that I was really bummed out and it wasn't that long ago when I paid tribute to my friend's son Caden. The little boy barely 2 years of age but is already struggling with life. His strength has kept me going and because of this little boy, I have a better view of my life and my own struggles.

A couple of days ago I heard two different news via Zsar's Blog. One of the news is that Caden was already walking. Caden has OI (Osteogenesis Imperfecta), which means that he has really fragile bones that can break anytime. Zsar and Carl had already thought that their little boy would start walking at the age of three and not any time sooner. But a miracle has happend, and this kid, whose not even two has already started walking. As I was watching the video (which you can find here), it really moved me to tears seeing him walking around without any help from anyone. And it was really a delightful sight to see. My heart was really filled with joy when I was watching it and I know I couldn't imagine the glee and happiness that Zsar and Carl would have been feeling that time, seeing their youngest son beat the odds once more.

But but after watching that wonderful video, reality checks in and what a reality it was.

Tears of joy became tears of sorrow when I read that my little hero had fallen. Caden has a fracture and from what I can gather from Zsar's blog he might need operation to set his bones right.

I'm shocked and saddened by the news. He's just a little boy full of promise and laughter. And knowing that he's suffering really pains me. And there's nothing I can do but pray that everything will be alright.

So, I guess I'm calling everyone with a heart to please pray for this wonderful boy. Give him your strength and your prayers so that he can face anything in the future. No child deserve this much pain and no parent should be suffering as well.

Please pray for Caden Zayne Amador. Pray for his full recovery. Pray for his health. Pray that after this ordeal he would be able to smile, laugh, run and play.
