The World Can't Wait. End Poverty. Now

I joined the mailing list of the millenium campaign some time ago. To quote the site "The Millennium Campaign informs, inspires and encourages people’s involvement and action for the realization of the Millennium Development Goals. An initiative of the United Nations, the Campaign supports citizens’ efforts to hold their government to account for the Millennium promise."

G8 covers 8 goals that the whole world would need to achieve by 2015:
  1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
  2. Achieve universal primary education
  3. Promote gender equality and empower women
  4. Reduce child mortality
  5. Improve maternal health
  6. Combat HIV/Aids, malaria and other diseases
  7. Ensure environmental sustainability
  8. Develop a global partnership for development
So, I'm doing my part to let everyone know that there is something being done with these issues. I know it's not much...but letting people know that there is a problem and the whole world is doing it's best to fix it is the only way I can do my part.

Add your video voice telling G8 leaders "The World Can't Wait. End Poverty. Now."
