Well...let's just say that this is a very disappointing season for me. Not only did Kimi Raikkonen not win a second title but also seeing Felipe Massa win and not win at the same time.
Kimi Raikkonen did not have a good season this year. It looked like everything that could go wrong went wrong for him. All season, he was having problems with his tires. He couldn't come to grips with it. He made plenty of mistakes. He made more mistakes in this season alone than his whole career put together. People even say that he lost his drive...I say that it just wasn't his year.
Back when he was at Mclaren, I saw this seesaw pattern where one year he'll do well and the next year he won't. I thought that it was a Mclaren thing. After this season, I guess it's a Kimi thing after all. He had a very good season last year, so technically, it wouldn't be good for him this year. Oh well, I just hope that it would again be a good year for him next season. I want him to at least have two world championship on his belt before he finally decides to retire. Well, three if he could manage it.
Felipe Massa should have won World Champion. The poor boy has been at it for years and I thought that since Kimi isn't doing so well, all efforts were put to make Massa win this. Well, he almost did, if it wasn't for Timo Glock who suddenly slowed down....
Hayz...on a good note, at least they won Constructors. It was at least a consolation for all the mishaps that had happened in and out of the pits. I hope that next year, things will get better. Whether it's Felipe Massa or Kimi Raikkonen...I don't really care anymore, I just want both of them to just back and be more competitive.
Robert Kubica had a good year. The only problem with him is that during the last couple of races, he kept choking that we find him below the top ten during qualifying. Hoping next season, he'd do better and hoping next season, he'd be more of a challenge for the title.
Well, congratulations to Lewis Hamilton. I'm not a fan and for some strange reason, I don't like you but heck you won this fair and square...but I still won't cheer for you next season.
