Music To My Ears

It has already been a month and a half since I've started driving the van and today was one of the best days of driving it. Ever since my dad bought the van, it has been without a sound system. No radio, no cassette player, no cd player...nothing. There was this open space on where the sound system should be placed. Until yesterday.

When my dad arrived for his emergency leave, he brought with him a CD player for the van with an added feature of AM/FM. It was installed yesterday with the speakers nicely replaced. My younger brother was priviledged being the first person who got to use the van, while listening to some music. I was lucky enough to use it this morning, and my morning was really different as compared to the usual silent van on my way to work with only my voice for a form of entertainment.

It really was a nice feeling listening to music (without hearing my own voice) for a change. It kept me awake all the way to the office. It was a good feeling. It kept me in a good mood when I arrived at work and even though I'm so tired and stressed out it was okay since the journey home was filled with music. The speakers they bought was really great and for the prize that we paid (which was I think P4000 total, including service charge) I think he did a good job and the money was worth it...though I'm not really sure if it was the right price, cheap or expensive...hmm...

All in all, it was really great to have a sounds in the van. My sister can actually fall asleep in the van and I won't really mind. I have music to keep me company.
